Few months ago, as his prize for winning Monster Energy Exams, Keegan ventured out to Europe to compete in Spain. Snagging a remarkable fourth place in flatland pro class against the worlds top contenders.

Outer Reef & Rhythms Launch
Company description
Outer Reef & Rhythms is a traveling playground for extreme adventurers. We take the ramps, rails, and groovy tunes that you need to live, and bring them to a hood near you. We welcome skateboarders, inline skaters, surfers, and BMX freestylers from all levels of experience. Monster Energy Exams
Held in the Woodbrook Community Center and just as successful as the fist, the second Monster Energy Exams kicked off on a clear Sunday in June.

Featuring pro Monster riders; Pat Casey, Keven Peraza and Adam Kun. Flatlander Camillo Gutierrez was also there with crew.

The park layout for the contest was simple but way over the level that
riders here are on. Two 8ft quarters an a 5ft box.

There was a flatland and a park competition for the local riders before the pros took to the course for the demos.
Winner of the park contest got funding for their own ramp while the flatland winner was awarded a trip to Europe to compete in a pro flat contest.

Trinis in FISE Costa Rica
February 2nd to 5th were the dates for the first ever FISE in Costa Rica. Four of the local riders from T&T made it out there for the competition; Kestral Roopnarine, Keegan Alves an Brad Lee were competitors with Tarique Eastman picking up the team manager role, if you may call it that.

The 'Trini Trio' competed in the amateur flat comp, pulling off some great results for their first time in the international circuit.

This was everyone's first trip to any international contest. Loads of fun and definitely gonna make it back out there again next year.

Looks like Outer Reef & Rhythms is throwing a last jam for the year. Nice little bunnyhop and ollie jam. No other details yet other than its in December so I guess we're gonna have to wait for more information. Long jump contest too? Now this should be interesting.
